My name is Teodor Nedev and I have been a professional 3D Environment Artist for 5 years. I hold a Master’s degrees in Wood Carving from the National Academy of Art in Sofia and in Interior Design from the New Bulgarian University, which have given me a thorough knowledge in the field of plastic arts, faithfully recreating the world around us, and good preparation in the field of architectural and interior design. My professional experience includes 1 year of making games for portable devices and mobile phones for the Pilgrim Interactive game developing studio, followed by 4 years as a 3D Environment Artist for the video game company Gameloft Sofia.
In my 3D modelling and texturing work I primarily use 3DS Max, Maya, ZBrush and Photoshop.
I view myself as someone who is consistently growing and takes the time to continue learning.
I find that quite often my professional growth is based on what I study during the process of work.
Professional experience:
- modelling and unwrapping complex low-poly and high-poly 3D models
- sculpting high-poly environment models for normal map projection
- creating textures for environment models and architecture
- lighting and rendering interior and exterior scenes
- technical graphic skills (research and solving technical problems for achieving better results)
